Au Rocher de Cancale is a Paris restaurant, located at No. 59 on the Rue Montorgueil, 2nd arrondissment, Paris. The restaurant has enjoyed its fame and great success during the Belle Epoch from the late 19th century to the early 20th century.
Because of its location and the excellence of cuisine, the customers enjoyed the dinners after the theaters or the Opera house at Au Rocher. Coco Chanel was one of those celebrity clients in that era.
