Day Of Judgement - Daily Telegraph
A few months ago I was shooting in New York’s financial district on what was THE hottest day of the year. Needless to say, I was shooting fall fashion - coats, jackets and all. The story for the shoot was based around a fictitious A-list celebrity going in and out of court for a high profile case. Photographer Patric Shaw cast the lawyer, legal aid, paparazzi and police officer perfectly but once we started shooting we found that what we needed was a second paparazzi. I knew just the man to call! My husband James came down to meet us and so he’s the 2nd paparazzi hand in half the pictures.
Just after lunch the actress playing the police lady said she had to go do another job, so we were now left without a officer. James came to the rescue again, this time donning the uniform to act as my police escort in half the pictures. In one picture you’ll see James breaking up a brewing altercation between myself and the paparazzi - I wish you could see the outtakes from this series of pictures, quite hilarious. At one point I was fully on James’ back, trying to get at the paparazzi man.
This is now James’ second shoot with me. You might remember he shot with Patrick Demarchelier and I for an American Vogue story. Quite the little portfolio he is working up!

Not many people know this but I started my modeling career with a 2 month stint in Taipei at just 16 years old. Ever since, whenever I look at the statistics of who in the world is viewing my blog or videos, I’ve found I have such a loyal base of followers in Southeast Asia - There’s always a disproportionately large percentage of views coming from countries like Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia.
I’m very happy to announce not one but TWO covers in the region this month with Elle Indonesia. As you might recognize, its based on my Elle UK editorial last month. I’ve always received such a warm outpouring of love from my friends in this corner of the world, thank you for being so loyal to me these last seven years - its been quite a ride!
